Rowan's Tapout

Last night at Camp Tesomas, Rowan was chosen for the Order of the Arrow, a high honor in scouting. Those chosen are voted upon secretly, and they are grabbed from the crowd, tapped out by the "chief", and put through what is called "the ordeal" - spending a night alone in the woods, followed by a day of hard labor with nothing but bread and water for food. This culminates in a huge celebration and dinner as the boys become members of the Order. This was Rowan's first year of eligibility and both he and his best friend Wyatt were both chosen.
